Adults Only or a family hotel?

More and more hotels on the Turkish Riviera are adopting an ‘adults-only’ concept – in other words, holidays exclusively for adults. A recent example: the new Delta Hotels by Marriott Antalya Lara (18+) reported an occupancy rate of around 80 per cent for June, which was well above the average for many city centres.

Antalya aims to welcome around 18 million international visitors in 2026. In the first six months alone, over 5.5 million air travellers from abroad have already arrived. Nevertheless, some hotels – particularly in Alanya – are reporting lower occupancy rates than expected. The reasons cited include higher travel costs, airfares and the economic situation in key source markets.
